RETURNED & EXCHANGED GOODS POLICY

All customer returns from either cash customers or account customers (salesman attributed and non salesman attributed) must be approved by FGI.

Customers have 90 days to return goods WITHOUT restocking charge, provided they have receipt of purchase, returned goods are free of damage, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.

For returns that are greater than 90 days old, but less than 1-year, approved returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee upon approval.

For returns greater than a year from purchase, Managerial approval must be given to accept the return (Branch, Parts Manager, or Pricing Manager). These returns are also subject to 15% restocking fee.

EXCEPTIONS:

Items that are not eligible for return are:

  • Parts that have been opened or installed.
  • Chemicals, Oils, grease, and lubricants.
  • Products cut to length or modified.
  • Clearance or final sales merchandise.
  • Items for personal use (mattresses, seat covers)
  • Personal safety products (respiratory protection, ear protection, coveralls, vests)
  • Tire chains
  • Special order items
  • Class “O” items
  • Gift cards.

EXCHANGES:

Like returns product may be exchanged for other product provided all criteria listed under ‘Returns” and exceptions are met. Price differences may come into consideration.

Price differences between exchanges will need to be handled transactionally and addressed as customer pay for a price shortage, or potentially as a credit for price overages. Credits will be done to the original form of payment.
