Inventory Support Specialist

Fort Garry Industries is seeking an Inventory Support Specialist working out of our Regina branch. Reporting to the branch manager, this role is responsible for a variety of task supporting customer sales, service, and inventory control.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute FGI Customer Service Standard
  • Work with branch team to ensure orders are filled and accurate
  • Ensure invoices, core returns, product returns and warranty claims are processed in a timely manner
  • Follow up on shipping shortages and update counter sales team on outstanding issues
  • Process electronic orders
  • Process fillable back orders
  • Quantity receipt entry
  • Source and order product for fill-in as required
  • Assist in cleaning up inventory discrepancies and manage committed inventory

Qualifications:

  • Data entry experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Must be comfortable with contacting and conversing with outside vendors
  • Previous experience with heavy duty parts considered an asset
  • Previous experience with a shipping and receiving background an asset

Inventory Responsibilities

  • Quantity receipt entry
  • Source and order product for fill-in as required
  • Assist in cleaning up inventory discrepancies
